Bushy Park Homestead & Kiwi Sanctuary
Bushy Park is a beautiful historic homestead set in 240 acres of virgin rain forest. The land is crossed by a network of forest paths allowing you to stroll in peace before returning to the elegant homestead. The bulk of the forest and the homestead are contained within predator proof fencing so that the Kiwi and other native bird sanctuary.

Our tour consiists of being picked up in Wanganui and a scenic drive out to Bushy Park, with many of the points of interest pointed out along the way. You will then have up to 1 hour to enjoy the walks and the homestead as well as enjoying devonshire tea on the verandah. The trip back completes a loop back into Wanganui, along the banks of the Whanganui River.

Ashley Park Animal Farm & Museum
Ashley Park is a beautiful farmstay and camping ground located 30 minutes from Wanganui As well as the home, Ashley Park also has an animal farm where many can be fed, large collection of bird averies, a collectibles and curiosities museum, antique and craft shop, tea shop restaurant, swimming pool, mini-golf course, park walks and lake.

Our tour consiists of being picked up in Wanganui and a scenic drive out to Ashley Park. Our driver will point out many items of interest along the way. You will have up to 1 hour to enjoy the animal arm, averies and museum as well as enjoying devonshire tea in the teashop. Alternate light meals are also available if preferred.

Paloma Gardens
Paloma Gardens is located 20 minutes from Wanganui. This unique and attractive garden is rated as a garden of national significance by NZGT. With many attractive walks and some unique plants there is much to explore. You can also picnic in the grounds.

Our tour consists of being picked up in Wanganui and a scenic drive out to Paloma Gardens, with many of the points of interest pointed out along the way. You will then have an hour to enjoy the gardens as well as enjoying a picnic tea, coffee and biscuits.
